Corfu Town, including the Old Town, with its cobblestone streets and pastel-coloured Venetian buildings, is an architectural gem that boasts some of the island’s top attractions, including the 15th century Old Fortress. Consider this a priority visit!
Sidari
Our village in the north-west part of Corfu is one of the most popular locations both for the number of beautiful beaches and the nightlife options that it offers, including the vibrant market. It’s close to the summery bustle while remaining serene, bringing together two of the best sides of Corfu.
Canal D’Amour
The Channel of Love at Sidari is a natural masterpiece carved by the sea and wind through the centuries. It looks like a lunar landscape and encompasses a number of scenic bays you can reach by several paths. Diving around the cliffs can reveal spectacular cave formations for more exploration!
Loggas Beach
One of the beaches closer to Sidari, also in the north, Loggas Beach is a narrow strip of sandy land towered over by imposing limestone rocks. Its sunsets, stunning views and unique landscape make it one of the must-visit spots in Corfu.
Agios Stefanos Beach
A bit further west but still at a close distance by car, Agios Stefanos Beach flaunts velvet sands, crystalline waters, lush surroundings and a clear mountain view visible from the beach. It’s also perfect for families and anyone looking for a peaceful beach experience.
Arillas
Surrounded by small villages that are easy to explore on foot, Arillas, with its shallow waters, golden sands and many sunbeds, is a family’s ideal destination. Its western location offering famous sunset views and its over-all friendly atmosphere add to its popularity.
Porto Timono Beach
Porto Timoni’s unspoilt beauty makes it one of the most exotic locations on the island and a must-see for all. Reached either on foot or by taxi-boat, it is perfectly secluded and serene. Nature-lovers will enjoy the hiking “journey” and will stand in awe of its verdant allure.
Palaiokastritsa
Paleokastritsa means “Old Castle” and is one of the most popular tourist resorts, due to its crystalline waters and its many picturesque coves. It’s also famous for its historical sights dating back to the Byzantine era, such as the castle of Angelokastro and the monastery of Theotokos.
Angelokastro
Angelokastro is a Byzantine castle standing on top of the highest peak of Corfu’s shoreline in the north-west, 300 metres above sea-level. Whether you book a tour or not, know that the 15-minute climb is part of the adventure. The incredible views are all the reward you’ll need.
Glyfada Beach
More on the west side, Glyfada Beach is characterised by its long but wide, sandy shores and its beautiful waters. It is considered one of the liveliest beaches, with various shops, beach bars and restaurants, as well as its large parking lot.
Pontikonisi
Pontikonisi, or Mouse Island, is an islet near the east side of Corfu, located at the entrance of the ancient merchant port. It is closely linked to mythology and is famous for the unique Byzantine chapel of the Pantocrator, which opens to visitors once every year, on August 6.
Achilleion
Achilleion Palace was built in Corfu for the Empress Elisabeth of Austria, also known as Sisi, and operates as a museum. It is located at Gastouri, a village south of the city of Corfu, offering a stunning panoramic view of the city to the north, and the southern part of the island.
